Walk into the review already knowing
The worst reviews are the ones where the room learns the real state for the first time, live. Run this checklist beforehand and the review becomes decisions, not discovery.
The checklist
For every “on track” item, is there evidence it actually moved this period?
Which commitments from last review landed — and which quietly slipped?
What's marked done that hasn't actually shipped or been verified?
Which deals/projects look healthy on the board but have had no real activity?
Who's blocked or gone quiet that hasn't surfaced it themselves?
What decision from a past meeting drifted from what got built?
What's the one thing most likely to surprise the room — and have you pre-empted it?
