An EOD report template that's worth reading

Most end-of-day reports restate the plan and tick a box. A good one says what actually moved, points at proof, and names what's blocked. Here's a template that does that.

What makes an EOD report useful

Specificity and evidence. “Shipped the export endpoint — live, a customer used it” beats “worked on exports.” Every line should point at something verifiable, or name exactly what's stuck and what would unblock it.

The template

EOD — {your name} — {date}

✅ Shipped today (with proof)
- {what} — {link to the deploy / PR / doc / result}

🚧 In progress (and where exactly it stands)
- {what} — {% done, what's left, when it lands}

⛔ Blocked (and what would unblock me)
- {what} — {who/what I need}

🔜 Tomorrow's one priority
- {the single most important thing}

Stop relying on self-reported EODs.

Axon checks what was claimed against what the tools actually show. India + GCC cohort.
